Cadets MUST meet the following requirements to join 2347 Argyll Cadets:

Be at least 12 years old;

Legally reside in Canada;

Not belong to another corps or squadron;

Have parental/legal guardian permission to join;
-
Be medically, physically, and mentally able to participate in cadet training;
-
Be willing to commit to the program as outlined in FAQ's.
*Note: Cadets must leave the program when they turn 19 years old.*

CORPORAL (CPL)

successfully completed the first year of level training

participated in the Cadet Fitness Assessment

recommended by the Guard Commander
MASTER CORPORAL (MCPL)

completed at least six months of service at the rank of Cpl.

successfully completed the second year of level training
-
participated in the Cadet Fitness Assessment
-
recommended by the Guard Commander
SERGEANT (SGT)
-
achieved a minimum of “completed without difficulty” in PO 303
-
completed at least six months of service at the rank of MCpl.
-
successfully completed the third year of level training
-
participated in the Cadet Fitness Assessment
-
recommended by the Guard Commander
WARRANT OFFICER (WO)
-
achieved a minimum of “completed without difficulty” in PO 403
-
completed at least six months of service at the rank of Sgt.
-
successfully completed the second year of level training
-
participated in the Cadet Fitness Assessment
MASTER WARRANT OFFICER (MWO)
-
achieved a minimum of “completed without difficulty” in PO 503
-
completed at least six months of service at the rank of WO.
-
successfully completed the fifth year of level training
-
identified as a successful candidate through the merit review board
CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER (CWO)

completed at least six months of service at the rank of MWO.
